It will take just 37 seconds to read this and change your thinking..

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room.

One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs.

His bed was next to the room’s only window.

The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.

The men talked for hours on end.

They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation..

Every afternoon, when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.

The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.

The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake.
Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.

As the man by the window described all this in exquisite details, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine this picturesque scene.

One warm afternoon, the man by the window described a parade passing by.

Although the other man could not hear the band - he could see it in his mind’s eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.

Days, weeks and months passed.

One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep.

She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.

As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.

Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside.
He strained to slowly turn to look out the window besides the bed.

It faced a blank wall.

The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window.

The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.

She said, ‘Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you.’

Epilogue:

There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations.
Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled.
If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can’t buy.
‘Today is a gift, that is why it is called The Present .’

The origin of this letter is unknown, but please pass it on.

WATCH THIS STUDENT YELL AT HIS TEACHER FOR NOT DOING HER JOB

Create excitement, teachers! Students in these days are lazy, make them excited! Make them curious to explore the knowledge!

The future where reality and dreams are.

I finally finished my college. Yay, it’s all that we dream of as students. To stop chasing for score and go real out there by doing our dream job and do things that we are desire.

Sounds nice? Well, reality is harsh.

I don’t say that those things are impossible. They ARE possible. But the roads that we have to take to make them come true is not as easy as you think. Thinking about our future is nice and easy, but when we are exactly in front of it, to make them happened is need a lot of work. Welcome to the reality.

But I do believe in a saying from John Green (honestly, I have no idea who is he, but I put my hat’s up for his thoughts here) :

Maybe there’s something you’re afraid to say, or someone you’re afraid to love, or somewhere you’re afraid to go. It’s gonna hurt, because it matters

To make those dreams come true is hard, because they ARE matters. I think, the harder it is, the worthier it’ll become.

Well, it’s easy for me to say, because while I wrote this for us to read, I’m in the middle of convincing myself too. Convincing myself that yes, I’m in a hard time to make my dreams happen. But yes, I should keep believing that they are possible. Efforts and pray, double combo of the best way to chase those dreams.

Many people given up their dreams for living in present, reality beats them. I may shivering too, thinking of alternates way of living my dreams. I hope I could still have the courage of holding the dreams and chase them.

For now, let’s being open minded. Maybe you cannot have your first step directly into what you dream of. But try to make a map of your biggest dream and think about the smallest step towards it. Perhaps you won’t like it or think that what lies in front of you is doesn’t make any sense to your biggest dream. But hey, we are struggling with reality. Let’s play with its rules and not let the reality win in the end, but you should.

There are many pieces that make up our lives: Moments that break us. Moments that raise and shape us. Decisions we make to hold on. Or let go. People who enter our lives and leave us changed forever. The ones we love, the ones that hurt us, or heal us, or leave us. Sometimes we don’t understand these pieces—or even despair over them. It’s only when time goes by and we look back, that we suddenly can see our whole life like a perfectly designed puzzle.
Don’t be afraid of the puzzle piece you’re in now. It will fit perfectly…just like the rest. How could it not? The Designer is perfect.
